Late-Night Punter Who Raped Prostitute Gets 8 Years

A 'John' who raped a prostitute in a back garden in the middle of the night minutes after agreeing to pay for sex has been locked-up for eight years.
Dwayne Johnson, 28, of Queensbridge Road, Hackney was convicted by a Blackfriars Crown Court jury of raping the 41 year-old woman in nearby Somerford Grove on June 30, last year.
It was 3.00am when the sex worker was approached by Johnson, who was riding a motorbike and they agreed a price for sex.

Johnson took the victim to a secluded garden where he turned violent.

He threatened to harm the victim and intimated he had a knife before anally raping her.

Johnson was identified through DNA recovered from the scene and arrested on Friday, July 4.

He claimed the anal sex was consensual, but was convicted after a six-day trial.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Jane Tunnicliff, from the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said: "Johnson violently assaulted and overpowered the victim by threatening to use a knife to harm her.
“I praise the victim for her courage and bravery in coming forward - it has been an incredibly stressful and traumatic time for her - and I am pleased that Johnson has now been jailed.

"I would encourage other victims of this type of crime to come forward, whatever their circumstances."

Prostitute-Killer Who Robbed Another Sex Worker Locked-Up

Maria Duque-Tunjano
A mentally deranged killer bludgeoned the prostitute he was visiting to death two weeks after tying up and robbing another sex worker – triggering a nationwide manhunt.
Robert Richard Fraser, 40, inflicted fatal blunt force trauma to the head of 48 year-old Maria Duque-Tunjano then searched through her handbag, snatching cash and her mobile phone.
He pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to the manslaughter of the Colombian-born victim by diminished responsibility and received an indefinite hospital order under the Mental Health Act.
Fraser killed Ms Duque-Tunjano at her flat in Earl's Court Square, Earl's Court on January 31 and also admitted robbing a 27 year-old prostitute in Hermitage Street, Paddington on January 18.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall of the Homicide and Major Crime Command said: “Fraser was clearly a danger to women and in particular sex workers.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the media and the general public for the assistance they provided to the police during the four-days in which a manhunt to locate Fraser was underway.

“I would also like to thank the various services that support sex workers for the valuable help they provided the police in communicating with the women particularly when we needed provide them with personal safety advice and speak to them as witnesses.”
The court heard Fraser contacted an escort agency and made arrangements to visit the 27-year old woman the following evening.

Robert Fraser
Fraser arrived at the property at about 7.30pm and attacked the woman, using her pyjamas to tie her up and gag her, and stole cash.

An investigation was launched and Fraser was later identified as a suspect by DNA evidence he left at the scene.

Nearly a fortnight later the body of Ms Duque-Tunjano was found by a friend in the bedroom of a flat in Earls Court Square, after concerns were raised for her welfare.

She had not been seen or heard from since Tuesday, January 28 and
a post-mortem examination established that she had suffered blunt force trauma to the head, and a murder investigation was launched.

Detectives established that Ms Duque-Tunjano took a booking from Fraser on January 28 and arrangements were made for him to attend the flat for sexual services.
His arrival at 9.57pm was witnessed by another sex worker who left shortly afterwards and it was also captured on CCTV.

CCTV captured Fraser leaving the property at 10.25pm after he had killed Ms Duque-Tunjano and his DNA was found at the scene.

Enquires conducted at this known addresses yielded clothing and footwear, which matched the descriptions of clothing he was thought to have been wearing during the two offences.
A laptop with details of escort agencies and sex workers was also found.

Enquiries to locate and arrest Fraser were underway and his image was circulated to the national media.

Fraser was arrested on Tuesday, February 4 in Leicester Square, central London, after a member of the public recognised him and called the police.

Financial Controller Nicked £1.3M From Estate Agency

Co. HQ: Hurford Salvi Carr
The trusted financial controller of a firm of estate agents, who looted £1.3m from under the noses of her bosses, has been locked-up by a judge who is demanding to know what she spent the money on.

Karen Chin, 45, of North Hill, Highgate was employed by Hurford Salvi Carr (HSC) at their HQ in Britton Street, Clerkenwell, where she diverted clients' funds into multiple bank and credit card accounts she controlled.

Her former employers claim much of the money has been blown on high-living, luxury goods and holidays, including the rental of a private plane and a £35,000 family vacation to Mauritius.

"You are plainly going to prison and the only question is for how long," Blackfriars Crown Court judge David Richardson told the first-time offender yesterday. "I want to know what you have done with the money and if it is true you have been shifting assets."

Remanding her in custody until sentencing on February 6 the judge added: "I have no intention of leaving you outside prison where you may cause further mischief in relation to your assets."

Chin pleaded guilty to nine counts of fraud by abuse of a position of trust between February 19, 2008 and February 19, 2013 and asked for three offences under the Theft Act committed before 2008 to be taken into consideration.

Prosecutor Mr. David Markham told the court Chin was employed as a four days per week financial controller on a £38,000 a year salary and had been with the company since 1999 until she was sacked on June 25, 2013.

Chin made a total of 304 money transfers into her own accounts between 2008 and 2013.

"She was trusted with the company chequebook and all the online payments, but an audit report revealed she had been dishonestly syphoning off client account funds into her own accounts.

"She was authorised to make payments and transfers and was a co-signatory with the directors of the company."

When the huge shortfall was discovered Chin's email history was demanded by her bosses.

"She produced three emails that appeared to be doctored by cutting and pasting and inserting fake text. She falsified them to cover the theft of funds."

On June 28, 2013 the High Court froze Chin's assets, including her £1.5m family home, but only £12,000 has been recovered and a £50,000 cheque she wrote to her former employers bounced.

HSC say Chin ignored two High Court warrants to appear, moved money to secret accounts and has shown no remorse.

Chin was eventually questioned about the fraud. "She said she did not know why she did it and it was not as if she needed the money and said she would pay it back," added Mr. Markham.

Probation Officer's Fling With Burglary Suspect She Protected From Police

A probation officer, who fell for a burglar wanted by police, putting him up in her home and giving him a mobile phone was told today that she would probably be going to prison when she returns for sentencing.

Stacey Karen McCarthy, 31, of MacMillan Court, Ruislip Road East, Greenford was bailed to return to Isleworth Crown Court for a pre-sentence report on February 6.

She pleaded guilty to assisting an offender between January 30 and February 23, last year, namely with intent to impede the prosecution of Stephen Sullivan she failed to notify the police of his mobile phone number and allowed him to stay at her home.

She also pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office between January 1 and February 23, last year, namely conducted an inappropriate relationship with Stephen Sullivan while employed as a supervising probation officer and provided him with a mobile phone.

“This was breach of trust by a public official and it is very likely you will receive a custodial sentence,” the judge told her.

Student 'Glassed' Fellow Pub Drinker During Boozy Afternoon Brawl

Boozy: Zoe Dolman
An award-winning Trowbridge student left a fellow-pub customer permanently scarred when she hurled a beer glass at him during an all-day drinking session.

Zoe Dolman, 25, of Hornby Walk, who studies Art and Design at Wiltshire College and received her year's highest Outstanding award from Trowbridge's major, will be sentenced on January 23.

She was convicted of assaulting 32 year-old Dominic Sattaur, causing him actual bodily harm, at The Old Garage, Replingham Road, Southfields, south-west London on May 25.

He was covered in blood and fragments of glass were left imbedded in an open wound that was later glued by A&E doctors.

He told Wimbledon Magistrates Court today: “I was slouching in my chair and my legs were sticking out a bit and as this girl walked in the she kicked me in the knee and said: 'Get the f*** out of my way.'

She kept making comments and digs at me and I told her to leave me alone and go back outside and there was a bit on an argument.

Outside her and a guy with a mohawk she was with kept making digs at the people outside and were both getting more and more drunk.
Glassed: Dominic Sattaur

I went inside and was ordering a drink when she tried to cut in and the girl behind the bar told her she had too much to drink and they all had to leave.

Back outside I was talking to someone and the girl picked up a glass and hit me in the face with it. There was blood all over my face, I was scared, and her dad ran over and tried to fight me.

He chased and followed me back inside and it started up again, but luckily my friend pulled him away.

I went up to the bathroom and my face was covered in blood. I wiped it with a tissue and I could see it had opened up, a centimetre and a half gap down my face.

Her dad ran up the stairs and tried to start again while I was in the bathroom.”

When Dolman was questioned by police she admitted drinking a small bottle of wine during her train journey to Paddington Station earlier that day, drinking a pint of cider at the station, and having “a pint or two more” before the disturbance.

She claimed Mr. Sattaur started trouble. “A guy was winding me up and being nasty. He called me a gypsy.”

Prosecutor Miss Saliha Ayub told the court: “She later admitted throwing her drink at Mr. Sattaur and said she could not remember if she threw a glass at him.

She said Mr. Sattaur tried to hit her and everyone piled in, including her dad.”

Boozy Banker Cruised Net To Hook Up With Underage Girls

Isleworth Crown Court
A Barclay bank employee, caught in an online police sting, has been jailed for child sex offences involving two girls, aged ten and twelve years-old, he wanted to abuse.

Michael Ray King, 38, of Victoria Road, Poole, was working in a branch of the bank located in the town before going home to his flat and spending the evening drinking heavily and cruising the net to chat with fellow paedophiles.

He was convicted at Isleworth Crown Court of arranging the commission of a child sex offence between November 10, 2013 and March 12, this year and attempting to engage in sexual activity in front of a child on March 5.

King was sentenced to four years imprisonment and must sign the sex offenders register for life.

The jury heard King, a first-time offender, indulged in sick online conversations with an undercover officer, known as 'Jez', on intenet forums entitled 'Incest' and 'Jailbait.'

The defendant discussed meeting 'Jez' and his two young daughters and having sex with them and encouraged 'Jez' to abuse the girls while chating online.

King also sent 'Jez' pictures of “scantily-clad” young girls and gave his phone number to the officer.

The jury also found the defendant pleasured himself in front of his computer's webcam, believing 'Jez' was forcing the girl to watch.

King tod the jury he was acting out fantasies for sexual kicks and never believed there were any young girls watching him via his webcam or in danger of being abused.

He claimed to be depressed and stressed and spent long evenings alone, often drinking five cans of lager a night and smoking cannabis.

Valuable Classic Car Nicked On Christmas Eve

A £100,000 classic car – which it's owner had spent eighteen months restoring – was stolen from his garage on Christmas Eve.
The car is a 1955 blue convertible Austin Healey that was built in 1955 and was a fiftieth birthday present for it's Chelsea owner Pascal Maeter.
It was parked at 2.00pm on December 24 and later that evening the owner found his garage had been forced open and the car taken.
Mr. Maeter said: “When I was given this car it had not been used for forty years.
“It looked good from twenty metres, but when you got up close you saw that it needed a great deal of work.
“It took me many months to get it back to being a beautiful and working machine.
“I really hope the public can help; it was not just an ordinary car to me! This was a much loved gift, one of a special production and restoring it was a labour of love.”
Detective Constable Joe de Vere of Kensington & Chelsea police said: “The car is very distinctive and extremely rare.
“This is the sort of car that people would notice and for that reason it has probably been stored off-road, but it will need to be moved eventually.
“I would ask the public to remember what it looks like and call police if they see it.”
Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of the vehicle should contact Kensington and Chelsea police on 020 8246 0231.

Knife Killer Starting 12-Year Sentence

A knifeman, who killed a rival who jumped out of a car and chased him along a south London street, has been locked-up for twelve years.
Rio Julienne-Clarke, 21, was convicted of the manslaughter of Dwayne Simpson, 20, of Stockwell.
On Tuesday, February 25, last year, police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at around 5.00pm to a man stabbed in the chest in St John's Crescent, Stockwell.
The victim, Simpson, was taken by the LAS to a south London hospital in a critical condition.
He was later pronounced dead on February 27.
The Old Bailey heard Simpson was in long running dispute with Julienne-Clark.
They got into a fight after Simpson saw Julienne-Clark chasing a friend in Brixton Road.
Simpson was driving past and got out the vehicle he was in and gave chase.
Simpson caught up with Julienne-Clark and a fight ensued.
He was then fatally stabbed.
A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as stab wound to the heart.
Officers arrested Julienne-Clark in April after he continually tried to evade police.
They went to an address in Clapham and forced entry into a premises where he was staying.
He tried to escape but he was detained by officers.

Gun-Toting Drug Dealer And Girlfriend Jailed After Armed Police Stop

An armed drug-dealer has been locked-up for sixteen years and his girlfriend for six years after gangbusting police stopped the pair at gunpoint.
Titus Baffoe, 26, and Gemma Irving, 20, of Hertford Road, Margate were pulled over by armed Operation Trident officers - culminating an inteligence-led operation.
Baffoe was convicted of possessing a loaded firearm, with intent to endanger life, possessing crack cocaine, with intent to supply and offering to supply drugs.
Irving was convicted of possessing a loaded firearm and possession of crack cocaine.
Croydon Crown Court heard that at 6.30pm on July 18 officers from Trident’s South Proactive Team conducted a covert operation whereby armed police stopped a Vauxhall Corsa driven by Baffoe, with Irving in the front seat in Croydon Road, Anerley.
Prior to the stop by police Baffoe and Irving had travelled from Margate to South Norwood.

A search of Irving’s bag revealed a loaded Smith and Wesson firearm containing six rounds of ammunition together with gloves.
In addition a significant quantity of crack cocaine was concealed within her clothing.

Detective Inspector Paul Dorey of the Trident Gang Crime Command said: "Today saw the conviction of a dangerous criminal, intent on endangering people's lives through the possession and no doubt use of this loaded firearm that was primed ready to go.
“Titus Baffoe used his previous knowledge of police investigative methods and forensic techniques to evade capture.
“He used a young woman in an attempt to distance himself from the gun and drugs.
“However, the professional and thorough investigation by the officer in the case exposed his lies.

“Gemma Irving, who was ninteen years-old at the time of arrest made a life changing decision on the eighteenth of July to assist Baffoe in this criminal act.
“She concealed the loaded gun and crack cocaine to protect him from capture.
“These convictions serve as a reminder to anybody involved in the possession and use of firearms that officers from Trident Gang Crime Command will continue to actively pursue and place them before the courts even when operating outside of London.

“It also provides a health warning and wake up call to young women who agree to hold on to firearms and drugs on behalf of gang members."

Serbian Student's Syrian Terror Plan Thwarted

A Serbian student stopped with his mother at Heathrow Airport will be sentenced in February for planning terrorist activity in trouble-torn Syria.
David Souaan, 20, of Camden, north London was arrested on May 31 as he checked-in for a flight to his homeland.
He was convicted at the Old Bailey of preparing for acts of terrorism after police examined his mobile phone and laptop.
The investigation established Souann claimed to have been involved in fighting in Syria when he visited the region last December during his Christmas break from university.
He supported a number of terrorist organisations and vowed that he wanted to return to Syria.

Officers found images on his phone and computer of Souaan, apparently in Syria, holding a gun and donning a sinister jihadi-style disguise.
Commander Richard Walton, of the Met's Counter Terrorism Command (SO15), said: "Souaan had an active interest in Syria and was set on fighting there.

Hammer And Machete Killer Who Murdered Partner And Their Toddler Daughter Caged For 35-Year Minimum

A father-of-five living a double-life, who killed his partner of eighteen years and their toddler daughter in a bloody hammer and machete attack when told to leave, is starting a life sentence.
Roland McKoy, 54, of Oswald's Mead, Lindisfarne Way, Hackney battered 45 year-old Valerie Forde's head seventeen times with the hammer and used the blade to slash 22-month old Real-Jahzara McKoy's throat.
He was convicted at the Old Bailey of murdering both of them at the family home on March 31 and must serve a minimum of thirty-five years.
Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Charles King, of the Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "Research has shown that women are at greatest risk of homicide at the point of separation or after leaving a violent partner.
“What Roland McKoy did on that day in March almost defies belief, but it is a stark warning that extreme violence within such relationships is a very real possibility.

"McKoy lost control as the reality hit home that Valerie was adamant he must leave and carried out a horrific attack with a variety of weapons.
“Not only did he vent his fury at his partner but he also killed his baby daughter."

The court heard the couple's relationship broke down in December 2013 and Valerie told McKoy he must move out of their home by March 31.
That morning McKoy showed no signs of leaving and the couple, who had three children together, argued.
Valerie called her eldest daughter who heard shouting and then screaming and called police.
At one point she heard McKoy say: "This is the destruction that you have brought onto the family."

Officers arrived and forced entry and they found Valerie, Real-Jahzara and McKoy all on the third floor of the house.
Valerie and her daughter were not breathing and had obvious injuries.
McKoy was lying in a foetal position on the floor next to a hammer, machete and screwdriver.
He had minor self-inflicted wounds plus internal injuries from drinking household bleach.

The court heard that McKoy had attacked Valerie with the hammer, striking her head at least 17 times.
He had slashed her face and neck with the machete and stabbed her with the screwdriver.
He also used the machete to cut his daughter across her neck.

He wrote a note which he left on Valerie's face, accusing her of "dirty tricks" and blaming her for the attack.

Enquiries revealed the couple's relationship had begin to deteriorate in 1999 after Valerie discovered McKoy had been living a double life and was still married to another woman, by whom he had two children.

Their relationship hit more difficult patches over the next decade with McKoy jailed for drugs and benefit offences and Valerie unhappy that he did not contribute to the household, either financially or by helping around the home.

About six months before she was murdered, Valerie, a centre manager for the Hackney Marsh Partnership, told McKoy he had to contribute £150 each month to the household or leave.

By December 2013 she had told him their relationship was over and gave him three months to find somewhere else to live.

Valerie's family said today: "No matter how many years he receives it will not bring Valerie and Jahzara back.
“The pain will still continue for our family for the rest of our lives.

“His actions have destroyed the lives of Valerie and Jahzara's family, friends and the wider community in Hackney. Their deaths will not be in vain."

Stalker Who Pursued Ex-Eastenders Star Brooke Kinsella Back In Court

An obsessed stalker - fixated with ex-EastEnders actress Brooke Kinsella - who repeatedly sent unwanted messages and gifts and constantly tried to meet the star will discover his fate on January 19.

Paul Mason, 40, of 6 even visited the grave of her murdered brother and penned fantasy love letters to her.

He appeared via video link from HMP High Down at Bromley Magistrates Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody for probation and psychiatric reports.

Mason was convicted last month of stalking the 31 year-old actress who, played Kelly Taylor in the BBC soap from 2001 to 2004, between January 1, 2012 and April 4, this year after she gave evidence from behind a screen.

"I won't be co-operating with the psychiatric report, the probation report yes," dreadlocked Mason told the magistrates today. "I'm within my rights to tell them I won't speak to them and I will when they get here."

He faces a maximum sentence of six months imprisonment.

Miss Kinsella described Mason's behaviour as: "odd" and: "scary", particularly his references to having already bought her wedding dress for their marriage and his vow to show up at the acting school for children she runs.

Mason claims that as a victim of knife crime himself he was simply trying to support the actresses work with the Ben Kinsella Trust, dedicated to the memory of her 16 year-old brother, who was stabbed to death by three young men on June 29, 2008.

He turned up unannounced at a theatre she was performing at, a Trust open day event she was hosting, where he hugged her and the Trust's HQ, the Lions Centre, a leisure facility next to Millwall Football Club.

Mason left gifts such as CD's, oils, perfume and a ring at the locations and when police searched his home they found a quantity of expressive love letters devoted to the actress.

Islington-born Brooke told the court the first time she ever heard the name Paul Mason was in 2011 when the Home Office - who the Trust work with - contacted the police about troubling letters they had received about her from the defendant.

"I was told to be vigilant and was given his description and told to look out for him.

"I was performing at Bromley Theatre and the box office staff told me my friend had been looking for me and his name was Paul Mason. I was obviously worried because I'd been told to be vigilant about him.

"A couple of days later two actress friends were in the auditorium and he managed to get in and spoke to them, calling me: 'Pumpkin.'

"He contacted me on Facebook and Twitter and I received numerous messages on my phone and he would tell me my wedding dress was ready.

"I blocked him, but he set up new accounts and sent more messages such as: 'You will be my wife.'

"Sometimes they were complimentary and he would always refer to me as: 'Pumpkin'. It struck me as a bit odd and a bit scary and just seemed to escalate."

She was most concerned about his promise to show up at her True Stars Academy. "He said: 'I'll come down to see you and the kids.'

"I felt threatened from the moment he said he was coming down."

The only time Brooke met Mason face-to-face was at the Trust's open day in August 2013 at Millwall FC. "He came up to me and hugged me and said he had presents for me.

"I didn't look at the presents. I just wanted to get out of there."

Mason's lawyer Mr. Roger Hill told the court: "This is at the bottom end of the scale. His case is that he met the lady when she first auditioned to go on EastEnders at Elstree and was subsequently aware of what happened to her and was supporting her."

The defendant, who has a previous conviction for harassment, will also be the subject of a prosecution application for a restraining order to prohibit contact with Brooke.

Private School Head Admits Pupil Assault

Hendon Magistrates Court
The head teacher of a £6,855 per year private north London primary school has admitted assaulting a Year Six pupil when disciplining him over an incident two days earlier when the boy was playing football.

However, Martyn Keane, 68, of Shrublands Road, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire is disputing the prosecution version of the events and will return to court for a one-and-a-half day Newton Hearing to determine the facts.

He pleaded guilty at Hendon Magistrates Court to assaulting the boy on September 30 at the school, which cannot be identified, and will return on February 19 when the pupil and other witnesses will give evidence.

The court heard Keane entered the classroom the boy was in and grabbed hold of him by the knot of his tie and pulled him.

The youngster fell and struck his head on another pupil's shoulder before falling forward and striking the desk in front of him.

Keane claims he did nothing more than poke the boy's shoulder, causing him to stumble into the other pupil.

On October 6 Keane had a meeting with the boy's parents and denied the pupil's version of events and he was later arrested and questioned by police and charged on November 19.

The court made a Contempt of Court Order under Section 39 of the Children and Young Persons Act prohibiting publication of information that could lead to the identity of the victim, any other children and the school.

Notorious Activist Banned From Campaigning Against Policewoman Who Nailed Him

Self-Styled 'Whistleblower' O'Callaghan
A notorious activist, who waged a decade-long harassment campaign against two respected doctors, has received a restraining order prohibiting him continuing his latest cause against the policewoman, who successfully investigated him.

Disabled Paul O'Callaghan, 39, of Granville Road, Eastbourne mailed multiple copies of a petition he drafted to forty police stations all over London, Kent and West Sussex asking officers to sign their support for the dismissal of WPC Lisa London.

He did not attend Bromley Magistrates Court, where prosecutor Miss Louise Thomas explained the fresh investigation was prompted by a four-page handwritten document posted second class and received at Gipsy Hill Police Station, Crystal Palace on May 8.

The document could be described as a rant against both the NHS and Lisa London, who he said perverted the course of justice and described himself as a 'hero' and 'whistleblower.'

He asked police officers to sign his petition supporting the sacking of Lisa London and included a stamped address envelope.

The petition was hand-signed by Paul O'Callaghan and images of Lisa London taken from a Metropolitan Police web without permission were included.

He was interviewed and admitted sending the documents.”

When quizzed by officers O'Callaghan claimed: “She should be kicked out and I should be able to join the police.......She was fitting me up.”

The magistrates made the indefinite order, which prohibits O'Callaghan from obtaining, storing, distributing or communicating via media information in relation to Lisa London.

He is also banned from contacting the officer and must not distribute any signs or writings that are harassing or distressing or enter the London Borough of Bromley without a pre-booked medical or legal appointment.

O'Callaghan had pleaded not guilty to harassing Lisa London on or before July 11, but the charge was dropped by the prosecution on the day of the trial.

The officer had led the investigation and successful prosecution of O'Callaghan for circulating leaflets calling for the “punishment”, “retribution” and “execution” of named medics, who he also secretly recorded and filmed during consultations.

He receives disability living allowance for his chronic vestibular disorder, which effects his balance, and in August, last year received 18 weeks imprisonment, suspended for twelve months and ordered to obey an electronically tagged night time curfew between 8pm and 6am for ten weeks.

He was also made subject to a five-year restraining order, which prohibits him from displaying any sign that could cause harassment or distress to NHS staff and was ordered to pay £300 costs at the rate of £10 per fortnight.

O'Callaghan was convicted at Greenwich Magistrates' Court of two counts of harassment against Dr. Jennifer Quirke and Dr. David Golding-Wood between August 19, 2003 and November 20, 2012.

The self-styled founder of the 'British Unicorn Party' was also convicted of two counts of communicating threatening messages between October 1, 2004 and November 20, 2012 and November 16 and 20, 2012.

O'Callaghan had been receiving treatment at the Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington and circulated his leaflets throughout the London Borough of Bromley – the local authority the hospital is located in.

When convicted he told the bench magistrates: “I'm going to have you executed. I am going to have the three of you killed when I seize control of this country.”

His defence to the charges were that the leaflets were merely British Unicorn Party political manifestos, even though some were titled: “Doctors of Evil”, “Fifteen Year Wait For Treatment” and “We Make Complete Cock-Ups On A Regular Basis.”

Leaflets were pushed through Dr. Quirke's front door and the letterboxes of other hospital staff, who told police they found them: “Extremely nasty, extremely malicious and extremely slanderous.”

They included images of Dr. Quirke the defendant had secretly recorded during appointments and included a series of claims against both doctors.

Ear, Nose and Throat specialist Dr. Golding-Wood only saw O'Callaghan once ten years ago and referred him to the world-leading National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

I received everything from a single sheet A4 document to thirty-two pages, some of which contained somewhat threatening and disparaging material,” he told the court.

The author became more robust and used the words punishment, retribution and execution. I was extremely concerned and threatened.”

The two doctors formed the view that the defendant had become completely obsessed with the disorder and Dr. Golding-Wood found the literature threatening and distressing.

Dr. Quirke said the defendant was extremely hostile during their meeting and leaflets saying that she should be executed were distributed all over the borough.

The doctor also made a victim impact statement, explaining: “I was obviously targeted and letters were distributed at my place of work and through my front door.

My life was threatened, he said that we should be killed. I felt extremely vulnerable in my home and was concerned that he knew where I lived.”

So no news reports for today from all of us here at Square Mile News, but I am happy to inform you full service will be resumed after this special day and hopefully into the New Year.

Peace be with you.
