Glasgow Property Entrepreneur's Offensive Phone Message

A Glasgow property entrepreneur has been prosecuted for sending an offensive message from her mobile phone.

Andreia Hozhan, 26, who describes herself as a Portuguese-Chinese world citizen was reported by the recipiant to police in west London.

The University of Glasgow graduate, of Merton Drive, Cardonald was conditionally discharged for twelve months by Uxbridge Magistrates Court.

She was charged with communicating an offensive message on December 13, last year to Samuel Henry in Hillingdon for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety.

Hozhan was also ordered to pay £650 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

No order for compensation to Mr. Henry was made because the court found the case was a civil dispute.
