Bus Passenger Headbutted: Suspect Wanted


Police are hunting this violent suspect who headbutted a 65 year-old bus passenger in South London after trying to blag a free ride with an invalid pass.

The young black male (pictured) boarded a southbound 249 double-decker in Tooting Bec (pictured) just before midnight on Friday April 8, but was challenged by the driver.

The suspect threatened the driver and two other passengers before headbutting and punching the elderly victim, who was rushed by ambulance to nearby St. George’s Hospital.

This CCTV image has been released by the Metropolitan Police and the Transport for London Safer Transport Command Workplace Violence Unit.
