Police
are hunting this early-morning sexual predator, who followed a young
woman on her way to work and subjected her to a “shocking attack.”
The
20 year-old woman was on her way to Bedford Place, Bloomsbury at
7.15am on March 29 when she was assaulted at the bottom of steps that
lead to her workplace.
The
suspect began following her after she passed him in nearby Bloomsbury
Square.
He
left the scene immediately after the assault.
Detective
Constable Arif Sheikh from Camden CID, who is leading the
investigation, said:
"I am appealing for anyone who recognises this person to come
forward and speak to police.
“The
victim was followed to her place of work and was subjected to a
shocking attack."
