Mum And Daughter Jailed For New Year's Eve Pub Glassing

Paula & Melissa Millard
A mother and daughter, who glassed a woman during a pub's New Year's Eve night – inflicting serious injuries – have both been jailed for five years.
Paula Millard, 49, and Melissa Millard, 22, inflicted multiple facial injuries on their victim, aged in her forties, who was struck with a glass.
The victim suffered a broken nose, gash to her eyebrow and an injury to her wrist.
All three were in the ladies toilet of The Harrow pub in High Street, Cheam at 11.00pm on December 31, 2016.
The victim overheard the mother and daughter bickering and tried to lift the mood by telling them: “Come on girls, it's New Year's Eve,” triggering the brutal response.
Paula, of Gander Green Lane, Cheam and Melissa, of Clarkes Avenue, Worcester Park were both convicted at Croydon Crown Court of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Police were called to the scene that night and the victim was rushed to a west London hospital for treatment.
