A
suspected rapist, accused of attacking a woman near the shores of
Lake Como in northern Italy, is being hunted in this country.
Afghanistan-born
Abdullah Popalzai, 26, is wanted by officers from the Metropolitan
Police's Extradition Unit.
The
Italian authorities have issued a European Arrest Warrant for
Popalzai.
He
is accused of raping the woman in the city of Lecco on August 30,
2014.
It
is believed he has links to Dagenham, east London.
