Voyeur Charge For Secret Recording Equipment In House

A young man charged with installing secret recording equipment at a Kingston-upon-Thames house for sexual kicks has been sentenced.
Ampreet Assi, 22, of Heath Road, Hounslow appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court.
He was charged with one count of voyeurism, namely installing, constructing or adapting a structure to record another person doing a private act, with the intention of obtaining sexual gratification, on December 1, 2018.

Assi was charged under the Sexual Offences Act and appeared in court on bail.
He was sentenced to twenty-six weeks imprisonment, suspended for twenty-four months.
Assi must also comply with thirty days of Probation Service-ordered rehabilitation and complete eighty hours unpaid community service work.
