Cafe Charge: OAP Accepts Caution

A pensioner, charged with touching a woman outside a Bromley shopping centre cafe, has had the proceedings dropped after accepting an official police caution.

Francis Brendan McGillion, 73, of Hildenlea Place, Shortlands was due to appear on unconditional bail at Bromley Magistrates Court.

He was charged with sexually assaulting the woman outside Cafe Giardino, The Glades on December 20, 2019.

That charge was officially withdrawn by the Crown Prosecution Service.
