Deep Release Massage Specialist Accused Of Groping Female Client

A massage therapist, accused of touching a female client between her legs at his south London premises, appeared in court for the first time yesterday.

Graham Stannard, 46, is a practitioner of Zen-Su deep release massage, specialising in injuries and muscular pain deep tissue work.


He appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court, which sent him to Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court for trial.


Stannard, of Fleetwood Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting the customer on August 2, last year.


She was attending Stannard’s practice, Healing Zen Massage, 25a Bedford Hill, Balham.


Prosecutor Mr Arfan Ahmed told the court the complainant told police Stannard deliberately touched her twice during the same session, making a circular motion with his hand.


He was bailed unconditionally to appear on May 4.
