Cops Catch Young Drug Dealer

A young drug dealer, who fought with police in the street, has been locked-up for two-and-a-half years.

Mohammed Ali, 20, of Perryn Road, Acton, west London was stopped in nearby Chiswick with 50 wraps of a Class A drug and 24 cannabis wraps.

On Tuesday, February 25, last year PC Gonzalez and PCSO Norris of the Chiswick Policing Team were on patrol in St Thomas Road due to reports of drug dealing taking place in the area.

Ali saw officers and began to try and make off.

He was chased by the two officers and struggled when captured, lashing out with his hand, causing bruising to PCSO Norris's eye.

At Isleworth Crown Court Ali pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of drugs, with intent to supply, and assault of an emergency worker.

PCSO Norris said, “This is a reminder that drug dealing is unacceptable and as police we will deal with it robustly.

We continue to patrol the streets and make Chiswick a safe place for all residents, to disrupt drug dealing and any violence which follows it.”
