Female Train Passenger Targeted By Flasher

A lone female has complained of a fellow train passenger striking up conversation before exposing himself on a south London service.

The man deliberately sat opposite the woman and twice asked her questions, the second time to get her attention as he exposed himself.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released this image of their suspect and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying him.

At 7.30pm on October 6, the complainant was aware of a male passenger sitting opposite her on the service travelling between Penge East and Brixton stations.

He asked her a question, which she responded to before looking out the window.

A few moments passed, and he asked her a second question.

She turned around to see that the man had exposed himself inappropriately, so she immediately got up and walked away from him.

The man got off the train when it arrived in Brixton.

Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 429 of 06/10/21.

Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
