Trio Hunted For DLR Beating Of Youth

A male youth was repeatedly punched and kicked by three men while travelling on the Docklands Light Railway.

The boy suffered cuts and bruises to his head.

The attack was prompted by the unknown trio questioning him about his mobile phone.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released these CCTV images of their suspects and are requesting the assistance of members of the public to successfully identify them.

The assault occurred at approximately 3.35pm on Monday, October 4 at Langdon Park DLR in Poplar, east London.

The young victim was approached by three males, who began speaking to him about his phone.

The youth put his phone in his pocket out of sight and an altercation broke out.

The men punched and kicked him to the floor. 

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.
