Vaping Assault On Overground Train

An Overground train passenger was punched by two unknown males when he complained about a group of young men vaping on the service.

It was just before midnight on July 10 when the passenger was attacked in response to his complaint, which escalated when a second group of young men boarded and a melee ensued.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released these images of two suspects and are appealing for the assistance of the public in identifying them.

The train was travelling north via Harrow and Wealdstone station when the group were challenged by the male passenger.

Two of the men then punched the passenger before a second group of young men boarded the train and a disturbance occurred between the groups.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation.

If you recognise them, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 637 of 10 July.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
