Wanted: Train Station Pest Who Molested Passenger

A lone female train passenger was pestered by an unknown male who molested her and fled when the service stopped at a station.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released this image of a suspect they would like to speak to and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying him.

At 1.20pm on Thursday, December 15, last year a woman waiting in the café at Colchester station, Essex when she was approached by a man, who asked if she could watch his bag while he went to the till.

He asked her how he could get to his destination before they both boarded a train on Platform Four.

As the woman went to sit down, the man followed her and sexually assaulted her.

She pushed him away and moved further down the carriage. 

The man then got off the train and left the scene.

BTP officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
