Waterloo Underground Station Passenger Knocked Unconscious

A tube train passenger was punched unconscious during a violent confrontation on an escalator.

The victim sustained cracked ribs and suffered seizures when he was struck to the head.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released these two CCTV images of their suspects.

Investigating officers are appealing for the assistance of members of the public to successfully identify the two mystery men.

At approximately 11.50pm on Wednesday, December 27, last year the male victim was travelling home through Waterloo Underground Station.

He was approached by two unknown men on the escalator and following a brief conversation a violent altercation broke out.

After the victim was knocked out cold the two males left the station.

Detectives believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
