Homophobic Hate Crime At Bank Underground Station

A couple travelling on the London Underground were punched and kicked during a homophobic attack.

They were initially verbally abused by the mystery man, who is now wanted by transport cops.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released these two CCTV image of an unknown male and are requesting the assistance of the public to identify him.

BTP are treating the incident as a hate crime.

The victims were walking through busy Bank Underground Station in the heart of the City at approximately 4.45pm on November 12, last year.

A man approached and began verbally abusing them, before following the couple and kicking one and punching the other.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that could assist their investigation.
