Passenger Hospitalised By Train Assault

A train passenger was hospitalised with a fractured shoulder and facial wounds after being punched and stamped on while travelling on a late-night service.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released this image of their unknown suspect and are requesting the assistance of members of the public to help identify him.

The victim was travelling between Ramsgate and Dover, Kent at approximately 11.00pm on Friday, December 29, last year.

A male passenger punched and stamped on his upper body and head, rendering him motionless on the floor.

The victim attended hospital and was left with a fractured shoulder and stitches needed to his face.

Officers would like to speak to the man in the image as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation.
