Channel Four horse racing presenter Emma Spencer was fined £265 yesterday for jumping a red light while driving her Mercedes in Central London.
She did not appear at City of London Magistrates' Court, but pleaded guilty by letter to driving at 38mph through a traffic light 1.2 seconds after it turned red.
Prosecutor Mrs Varinder Hayre told the court it was 7.19pm when a camera at the junction of Victoria Embankment and Temple Avenue photographed Spencer on July 10.
Mother-of-three Spencer, 35, of Newmarket, Suffolk already has three penalty points on her licence for speeding in 2011.
She was given an additional three points and ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
