Police
are hunting a violent knifeman after two drinkers in an east London
pub were stabbed.
This
CCTV image of the suspect has been released by officers on Havering
borough.
The
double-stabbing occurred at the Shepherd and Dog pub, Shepherds Hill,
Romford just after 10.30pm on January 15.
London
Ambulance Service attended and treated two men for facial and stab
wounds to the chest and they were taken to hospital.
Detective
Sergeant Jay King said: "We are very keen to speak with the
individual pictured and would encourage anyone who recognises him to
contact us immediately.
“Both
victims sustained a number of stab wounds and it was only by pure
chance that they were not more seriously injured or killed.
"I
would urge anyone with information concerning the stabbings or the
man in the picture released today to contact police as soon as
possible.”
