Suspect Caught On CCTV Using Mugging Victim's Bank Card

Police hunting a street mugger, who robbed a cashpoint user in the early hours of the morning, have released this CCTV image of their suspect.

The incident occurred on Sunday October 4, last year in Woodbury Street, Tooting.

The victim, a 40-year-old man, was walking with a friend after using the cashpoint and was approached by two men.

One of them grabbed the victim who then attempted to flee, but was chased and then robbed of his wallet and mobile phone.

Later that day, at about 11.00am, the victim's card was used in a store in Colliers Wood, Merton.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man on the CCTV or who witnessed the robbery.
