A
supplier hoping to cash-in on the nitrous oxide craze is starting a
two year and four-month prison sentence after police seized thousands
of canisters of the gas.
Sonny
Chapman, 27, of Warren Street, Holborn fought the case, but was
convicted by a Wood Green Crown Court jury after a five-day trial.
He was found guilty of two counts of possession of a psychoactive substance, with intent to supply.
On
September 6, last year officers seized 14,000 canisters of nitrous
oxide from an address in Islington and Chapman's car when he was
