A man accused of biting off part
of the ear of another bar customer during a night time confrontation
appeared in court earlier this week.Ali Nariman, 34, of Chertsey Road, Twickenham appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Monday.
The episode was the subject of an appeal on BBC's Crimewatch with a full recreation of the incident, which occurred at 9.50pm at the Be at One bar, Putney High Street, Putney on April 11.
Nariman is charged with causing grievous bodily harm, with intent, to 29 year-old Charlie Linard.
He was bailed until August 7 to appear for a preliminary hearing at Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court.
