A “dangerous criminal” stopped in a mini-cab by armed police who found a sub machine gun and ammo is starting an eight-year sentence.
Nathan Marshall, 25, also had another machine gun and revolver stashed in the back garden of an address in north-west London, which had been found three weeks earlier.
A converted blank-firing Mac10 machine gun (pictured) and a Harrington & Richardson revolver were recovered on August 9, 2013 in Tubbs Road, Brent.
Marshall was stopped in St. John's Wood Road, St. John's Wood on September 2 with a Czech Vz26 sub machine gun in a carrier bag and ammo in the back of the vehicle.
Marshall, of Lammermoor Road, Balham pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to possessing the three firearms

Detective Inspector Keely Smith of the Serious Organised Crime Command said: "The Special Projects Team is committed to removing lethal weapons from the hands of dangerous criminals in order to keep London safe."
