Police
investigating the assault of a petrol station employee after a group
of young men were accused of stealing have released CCTV images of
the suspects.
At
approximately 6.00pm on Wednesday, February 11 last year three men entered the
store at the Texaco garage on The Highway, Tower Hamlets, whilst a
fourth man stood outside.
Staff
at the shop confronted the men as they believed they were responsible
for a previous theft.
As
the men attempted to leave the shop, one of them hit an employee
across the head.
He
did not require hospital treatment.
The
suspects are described as Asian and of slim build:
Suspect
One was aged in his late teens. He was wearing a black jacket, jeans,
black trainers and a grey baseball cap.
Suspect
Two was wearing a black hooded top, a puff-style jacket, blue
tracksuit trousers and was carrying a black bag.
Suspect
Three wore a beige top, blue jeans, black trainers and a black hat.
He was carrying a beige bag.
The
fourth suspect - who remained outside the shop - wore a maroon
jacket, black trousers and white trainers.
