Rogue Estate Agent Gets Suspended Prison Sentence

A rogue south-west London estate agent, charged with multiple offences of dishonesty, received a suspended prison sentence yesterday.

Julian Anthony Fielding, 52, of Admiralty Way, Teddington was sentenced at Kingston-upon-Thames Crown Court to two years imprisonment, suspended for eighteen months.

He was also ordered to complete 150 hours community service work.

Fielding originally appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates Court charged with a £25,287 fraud said to have occurred between March 31, 2012 and March 31, 2014, while employed as a lettings agent.

He was also charged with defrauding another victim in his role as a lettings agent on a date after July 1, 2011, plus another victim of £1,950 on a date after June 1, 2012.

Fielding faced another five charges of fraud by false representation and four counts of theft.
