Kennington Park Rape: Image Of Suspect Released

Police are hunting a rapist after a young woman was attacked in a south London park in the early hours.
The Metropolitan Police's Central South Safeguarding Command Unit have released this CCTV image of the suspect.
The victim, aged in her twenties, was walking along Kennington Park Road at 2.00am on December 29, last year.
She was approached by an unknown male, who struck her on the head and raped her in nearby Kennington Park.
Shewas taken to hospital as a precaution and later discharged. 
She is being supported by specialist officers.
Detective Inspector Ian Kenward said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to the man in the attached footage. 
“We are urging anyone who may have been in the area or who recognises him to contact police.”
