British Transport Police (BTP) have released this CCTV image of their suspect and have requested the assistance of the general public in identifying him.
The frightening incident happened on Platform 2 at around 3.20pm on Tuesday, November 14 at the south London railway station.
An unknown male approached the victim, ordering them to hand over their expensive jacket and then threatened them with a knife.
The victim handed over their jacket and the man left the station towards Rye Lane.
Officers would like to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference number 369 of 14/11/23.
