Michelle Molver, 30, who is the south-east London jail’s dedicated Prison Employment Lead appeared on bail at Bromley Magistrates’ Court.
Her role is to support prisoners into permanent employment on their release.
Dressed in a black leather jacket, black leggings and Dr Martens boots she only spoke to confirm her name, age and new address during the short hearing.
Molver, of Arneways Avenue, Chadwell Heath is charged with misconduct in public office between August 1 and September 5, last year.
It is alleged she had an inappropriate relationship with Kemai Mathurine, a prison inmate.
The court did not hear any specific details off the alleged relationship
and Molver was bailed to appear at Woolwich Magistrates’ Court on June 8.
She also devotes her time to The Churchill Fellowship with a focus on the rehabilitation of prisoners.
Molver is the former company director of the now dissolved Road to Rehabilitation Ltd and a current director of Grass Root Homes Ltd.
