The Metropolitan Police have released this image of their suspect.
Police were contacted at 1.00pm on Thursday, July 1 to reports of an unprovoked assault in Whistler Street, Highbury.
The 25 year-old victim was strolling along the pavement when, without warning, he was approached by a man and punched in the face.
The mystery suspect then quickly left the scene.
The victim reported he suffered a facial injury.
Police wish to speak to this suspect and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying him.
