British Transport Police (BTP) have released this image.
Investigating officers are appealing to the public to assist them in identifying him.
Just after 5.00pm on Saturday, June 19 at Belsize Park Underground Station a man was assaulted on the platform, leaving him with a lasting eye injury.
Officers believe the man pictured may have information which could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 514 of 19 June.
