Police
investigating a midnight sex attack on a young female bus passenger
in east London have released this CCTV image of their suspect.
The
Metropolitan Police Service's Roads and Transport Policing Command
are appealing for help in identifying the man.
On
Saturday, August 1 last year, at about half-past-midnight, the
20-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man as she travelled on
a route 257 bus travelling along The Grove, Stratford.
The
suspect is described as a bald white man aged about 50-years-old.
He
wore a blue zip-up jacket with a white t-shirt underneath.
Officers
are releasing a CCTV image from the bus and are asking anyone with
any information to contact Police Constable Andrew Morland on 07775
030912.
