Police
investigating a multiple stabbing in south London have released this
CCTV image of a suspected member of the gang.
On
Thursday, July 9 at 6.46pm, police were called to reports of a man
being assaulted outside the Betfred betting shop on London Road in
Thornton Heath.
Witnesses
reported seeing four men - out of a group of six - stab the
32-year-old victim in the chest before running towards Raymead Avenue
and getting into a car.
Paramedics
from the London Ambulance Service arrived and took the injured man to
a south London hospital with multiple stab wounds to his chest.
He
has since been discharged.
CCTV
in the area captured this man, believed to be one of the assailants,
running from the scene.
Police
are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man captured on
the footage fleeing the scene and any witnesses who may have seen the
assault, or the moments after the stabbing.
