A suspected fare-dodger grabbed a member of railway staff's neck when challenged for sneaking through the station's ticket barrier.
British Transport Police (BTP) have released this image of a young man they wish to speak to about the incident and are appealing to the public for their assistance in identifying him.
At just before 5.00pm on October 26 a passenger attempted to shuffle through the ticket barrier at Tooting station in south-west London.
He was then challenged by a member of rail staff.
The passenger pushed through the barrier and grabbed the member of staff’s neck before leaving the station.
Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.
