British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating and have released this image of their unknown male suspect.
Investigating officers are appealing to members of the public to identify the man.
The victim was travelling between Camden Road and Stratford in north London at 11.25pm on Saturday, July 23.
She was approached and sexually assaulted by a male fellow-passenger.
Officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information which could help their investigation.
