Police
are hunting a heartless thief, who nicked a pub's charity box, which
was collecting funds to fight brain disease meningitis.
On
July 14 at around 22.50pm the suspect was drinking in the Millers
Arms public house in Bexley Village, in the company of a pregnant
woman.
When
the landlord momentarily left the serving area the suspect was seen
to walk behind the bar and pick up the charity box.
He
hid it under his clothing and left the pub.
The
charity box was raising money for the charity 'Meningitis Now'.
Anyone
with any information should contact Bexley CID on 101 or
Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
